As the lead Social Value person for our business, I work closely with clients, partners, contractors, and subcontractors to help them deliver their social value targets.
From grassroots delivery to the preconstruction phase, my role is all about creating meaningful employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work and ensuring the best outcomes for all involved.Having spent 20 years working with construction contractors, it’s incredibly rewarding to now support those same clients in bringing new talent into the industry.
Helping people take their first steps into construction with the right support in place makes a real difference, and being part of that journey is something I truly value.
Outside work, I keep busy running a not-for-profit plants and greenery initiative, volunteering at a local food box, Citizens Advice, and Scouts, as well as making time for my family and dogs.
