C2 New Bailey - Construction Recruitment Day
Yesterday we welcomed 5 Salford young people, who are classified as NEET, on to our site for a recruitment day. Using our highly effective recruitment day model, candidates yet again engaged in an interactive employability session in the morning, followed by interview slots with our supply chain partners in the afternoon.
Thanks to Narina Bomanji, Anthony Patten and the lovely Pippa Holland from We Are Footprint, candidates were in high spirits and feeling confident due to taking part in company research, mock interviews and other CV/interview relevant activities.
Before the interviews commenced we enjoyed a beautiful lunch provided by VCSE "The Boulevard Deli", based in West Didsbury. Who I would, by the way, highly recommend!! Afternoon interviews were then carried out by the teams from Ameon Limited, TITAN INTERIORS LTD and Metclad Contracts, with great outcomes expected to come in the next day or so........... Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day.
You honestly led 5 young people to feel excited about their future career potential, and gave them increased confidence in their capabilities.
