We Are Footprint is proud to announce another successful collaboration with Willmott Dixon, this time focusing on empowering students at The Cheadle College to make a difference in their community.
Last month, Becky Larner, Social Value Coordinator at Willmott Dixon, and Pippa Holland, Social Value Director at We Are Footprint, had the pleasure of returning to The Cheadle College to witness the inspiring presentations by the Business students. These presentations marked the culmination of the Willmott Dixon Social Impact Project, where students showcased a range of initiatives aimed at addressing pressing social issues.
From mental health support for teens and staff to offering a hair cutting service for the homeless, the students' Business Plans were nothing short of impressive. They demonstrated not only thorough research and insightful content but also a genuine passion for making a positive difference in their community.
A special shoutout goes to 'Chit n Chat,' the winning project, for their innovative approach and impactful ideas. However, every student who participated deserves recognition for their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to social change.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students involved and express immense gratitude to Becky and Pippa for their invaluable support, advice, and feedback throughout the project. Their guidance has undoubtedly played a crucial role in shaping the success of these initiatives.
As the project concludes, we believe it has equipped the students with valuable skills and experiences that they can proudly showcase on their future career paths. Beyond Trafford & Stockport College Group, these students are poised to become catalysts for positive change in their communities and beyond.
We Are Footprint is committed to fostering such collaborations that empower individuals to create meaningful social impact. Together with partners like Willmott Dixon, we continue to make a difference and inspire future generations to lead with purpose and compassion.
