Last week, we welcomed 4 young people from Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) to HARGREAVES CONTRACTING LTD's site on King Street for work experience in Stockport.
The day a gave real insight into construction careers. Some of the highlights included:- An introduction to construction session- A Q&A with Chris Spencer the Project Manager about an operations career.- A session with Paul Whitelegg about a commercial career in the industry.-
A practical cost & build activity, with an award for the best design.- The young people also had a chance to get a tour of the site with one of the entry level operatives.It was great working with Hargreaves and GMYN on this.
