We Are Footprint, in collaboration with, ISG, Willmott Dixon, FK Group, Caddick Construction Limited and The Heaton Group, on World Book Day this year (7th March 2024), we embarked on a heart warming journey to spread joy and support education in local schools.
Among the schools visited were Park Spring Primary, Worthington Primary School, Webster Primary School, Holy Name RC Primary School, St.Teresa's Catholic Primary School, St Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School, and Bexton Primary School.
From Park Spring Primary with Vickie Thornton, Worthington Primary with Sam Oldfield, to St. Teresa's Primary with Daniel Forkin, Holy Name RC Primary with Nicola Tyson-Lightfoot, St Thomas of Canterbury with Janine Higgins and Bexton Primary with Rebecca Murray FCCA we've spread joy and literacy across Manchester and beyond.
Pippa Holland, We Are Footprint's Social Value Director, and Janine Higgins, Social Value Advisor from ISG, gifted the generous donation from We Are Footprint to the schools, further enhancing their educational resources. Mrs. Emily Armstrong, Headteacher at Bexton School, shared her excitement, stating, "What a fantastic experience for the children! We had a blast dancing with Peter Rabbit, thanks to We Are Footprint's generous donation towards books for the school."
As we reflect on these meaningful interactions, we are reminded of the profound impact that small acts of kindness can have on shaping the educational experiences of children. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the schools visited, as well as to our partners and supporters, for their unwavering dedication to supporting education and spreading joy in our communities.
