Experience in operational oversight across numerous projects will be essential, as well as the practical ability to introduce and maintain site solutions across dynamic schemes, while operating in a client-facing capacity.
As role will focus on the delivery aspects of all projects under your control, while supporting other divisions as required. You will ensure that all contracts/projects are well managed, and that project information is recorded and updated to align with the business procedures. You will take responsibility for monitoring, forecasting and reporting on all projects under your control to the owners of the business.

You will be required to communicate with senior management within the client team to ensure any complaints or conflict are managed in a timely manner ensuring there is a full conclusion and that our clients are happy with the overall outcome.

Core Responsibilities:
- Allocation of contractors to framework strategic programmes.
- Chair weekly operational calls for all live projects / frameworks.
- Framework programming – preconstruction and construction activities.
- Framework programming/ job scheduling.
- Hold regular sub-contractor meetings (package meetings).
- Manage & maintain team action log - ensure critical actions are carried out.
- Manage RAMS process/ compliant/ in date etc.
- Management and tracking of in-house labour allocated across the projects – forecasting continuity is essential.
- Management of admin team (ensuring the admin trackers are correctly maintained for all record keeping).
- Oversee & manage issuing of project O&Ms.
- Oversee quality control process - ensure adequate visits & reporting by quality manager, ensure actioned by contractors.
- Review of Mitie safety report - ensure managers are aligned with actions (as necessary) and any actions are promptly closed.
- Site visits to live projects to review progress/ safety/ compliance.
- Team diary management - scheduling of surveys/ pre-start meetings/ intrusive surveys/PC walks and snagging close out.
- Update & issue baseline tracker and programmes to Clients as required.
- Work closely & liaise regularly with clients to maintain & manage relationships.
- Work closely with commercial team to ensure CVIs/ change requests are captured & costed as well as chasing final account sign off.
Experience & Expertise:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in contract management required, preferably gained in delivering to the public sector.
- Contracts Management of compliance contracts in social housing and commercial sectors.
- CSCS – Manager level.
- Experience of managing projects in line with safety, fire compliance, building industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience of specification and procurement of property related contracts.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Health and Safety experience in any of these sectors is desirable, construction, commercial properties, residential buildings or client sites, multiple sites or consultancy.
- Project management experience, managing scope of works from start to completion, dealing with building regulations, contractors, pricing, approval and signing off.
- SMSTS Qualification.
- Strong knowledge of construction fit out with the ability to support the passive fire works (FIRAS/BM Trada and electrical installation (NICEIC).
- Successful programme/budget setting and delivery of works while maintaining service standards.
- Understanding and implementation of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
