Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties.
  • Carry out general labouring tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials around the site.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and ensuring that tools are stored correctly.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on site.
  • Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor promptly.
  • Participate in site meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors effectively.
  • Physical fitness is required as the role involves manual handling and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.

Contract length: 9 months
