Duties:

  • Assist in moving materials to site in and around Manchester via companies’ van.
  • Carry out general labouring tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision.
  • Follow instructions from site supervisors and assist tradespeople as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety compliance.
  • Always adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in site meetings and training sessions, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Valid Driving Licence is essential.
  • 2 references from a similar role are needed.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on-site.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
