Contract Type: Freelance (Minimum 6 months)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to support the construction project’s needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and manage the movement of materials and equipment to and from site, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption.
  • Site Coordination: Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize site layout and storage, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee the scheduling and allocation of equipment, manpower, and storage on site.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any logistical issues that may arise, maintaining smooth operations at all times.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, deliveries, and equipment usage.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or Site Logistics Manager in the construction industry.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally with Tier 1 contractors.
  • Strong understanding of construction site operations and logistics management.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a freelance or contract position is advantageous.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in logistics, construction management, or health and safety.
  • Previous experience in a similar role on major projects is highly desirable.
