Duties:

  • Lay blocks according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Mix mortar and other bonding agents to ensure proper adhesion.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut and shape materials.
  • Construct walls while maintaining alignment and levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in brickwork or related fields is essential.
  • Proficiency in bricklaying techniques and knowledge of various masonry materials.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools specific to brickwork.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
