Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including moving materials and equipment.
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure safety standards are met.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
- Participate in site meetings and training sessions as required.
Skills:
- Valid CSCS card is essential for this position.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a construction environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and supervisors.
- Physical fitness and stamina, as the role requires manual handling and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a similar labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
