Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment.
  • Support skilled workers by providing materials and tools as needed.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform general labour tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area throughout the day.
  • Report any safety hazards or issues to the site supervisor promptly.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Skills:

  • Valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and safely.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
