Senior Civil Engineer

Contract: Freelance, 18 months minimum

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure the quality of subcontractors' work on-site.
• Conduct thorough inspections and reviews of civil engineering work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to subcontractors where required.
• Monitor project progress and report any issues to senior management.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure that all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on site-based work.
• Proven experience in supervising and checking subcontractors' work.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, practices, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple sites across West Yorkshire.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Experience working with Tier 1 contractors is highly desirable.
