Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for industrial and clean room projects.
• Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiations, and awarding.
• Ensure accurate cost control and reporting, maintaining project budgets and minimising financial risks.
• Provide expert advice on value engineering and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Review and assess project variations and claims, ensuring they are resolved promptly and fairly.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to deliver projects within budget and to the highest standards.
• Oversee the preparation of final accounts and financial closures, ensuring full compliance with contractual terms.
• Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial forecasts.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in quantity surveying and cost management.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software.
