Location: Southampton – Mayflower Theatre Extension

Start Date: 28th April 2025

Duration: 5–6 Months

Working Hours: Approx. 45 hours per week (with occasional weekend work)

About the Role:

We are Footprint, recruiting on behalf of our client for a Site Engineer to work on the exciting extension project at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer with their own equipment to contribute to the development of this prestigious site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct all external surveys on the site
• Oversee piling operations
• Supervise steelwork erection
• Manage and adjust all ground levels to meet project specifications

Requirements:

• Must have own equipment for surveying and engineering tasks
• Previous experience with large-scale construction projects is essential
• Ability to work independently and manage site operations efficiently
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with the project team and subcontractors
