Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
- Groundworks & SFA Piling: Manage all aspects of groundworks, including excavation, drainage, and SFA piling activities.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, and addressing any issues promptly.
- Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the work to ensure it meets the project specifications and quality standards.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management regarding progress, delays, and issues that may arise.
- Problem Solving: Proactively resolve any site issues and ensure the project stays on track.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager with specific expertise in Groundworks and SFA Piling.
- Certifications: Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), and First Aid certification.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of groundworks processes, piling techniques, and relevant equipment.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple tasks, and ensure high standards of work.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions when faced with challenges on site.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
