Telehandler

This role requires a strong understanding of machinery and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. The Telehandler will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the telehandler to lift, move, and place materials as required on site.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from lorries or storage areas.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure effective communication regarding material handling needs.
• Maintain the telehandler by performing routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and organised at all times.

Skills:

• Proven experience in operating telehandlers or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• CPCS or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
