Job Summary

The ideal candidate will ensure safety and efficiency in traffic management, providing clear communication and guidance to drivers and pedestrians alike. This role is crucial for maintaining order and safety during events or in busy locations.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow to ensure safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing clear instructions and signals.
• Monitor the surrounding environment for potential hazards and respond accordingly.
• Assist in building temporary traffic control setups as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to traffic management.
• Maintain a calm demeanour during high-pressure situations, ensuring safety at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in English, with strong verbal communication skills to convey instructions clearly.
• Valid CSCS card and Traffic Marshall/Banksman Certificate.
• Traffic Marshall or Banksman experience with 2 references from previous roles.
• Strong observational skills to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions while remaining focused on safety.

Job Type: Temporary
